Roofs basking in the sun

The Hungarian Parliament in all its glory.

Behind the Castle District.

The church of St. Matthias is currently under renovation.

Budapest bridges: Erzsebet (Elisabeth) in the foreground, Szabadsag (Freedom) in the distance.

Ohmygosh! What a beautiful city. I have heard Budapest is beautiful, and it's wonderful to see pictures of it.

It looks like it would be fun to go biking through that city. :-)

Joe-- Pest is great for biking because it's flat and has lots of biking lanes. Buda (on the other side of the river) is very hilly and you'd have to be in good shape. Unfortunately I live in Buda and that is one of reasons I've been delaying my bike purchase--I'm not sure I can handle the hill to our house :)

Glorious rooftop photos! It reminds me a bit of Prague.

I like biking, but not uphill! ;^)
